چکیده مقاله:

This study presents a structural assessment of a three-span continuous reinforced concrete bridge featuring a ۵۰-cm thick deck slab, subjected to concentrated vertical point loadings. Given the critical role of deck stiffness in managing localized stresses, this research utilizes finite element analysis to investigate the structural response of the bridge under discrete high-magnitude load applications. The performance indicators, specifically von Mises stress distribution and vertical displacement (U۲), were analyzed to evaluate the flexural capacity and serviceability of the ۵۰-cm slab configuration. The findings indicate that the increased thickness of the deck slab significantly enhances load distribution, effectively mitigating stress concentrations and limiting mid-span deflections induced by concentrated loads. Furthermore, the analysis highlights the efficacy of the continuous deck system, facilitated by intermediate pier supports, in optimizing structural integrity. This study provides valuable data on the load-bearing performance of thick-slab continuous bridges, offering insights for advanced design practices in heavy-load bridge engineering.
