چکیده مقاله:

This study presents a finite element investigation of a three-span continuous reinforced concrete bridge with a ۳۰-cm thick deck slab subjected to vertical uniformly distributed loadings. The bridge spans ۲۴ meters in total, divided into three equal spans of ۸ meters each. Using Abaqus, the structural response was analyzed focusing on stress distribution and vertical displacement under service-level load conditions. The analysis accounted for material linear elasticity and realistic boundary conditions simulating pinned, roller, and continuous intermediate supports. Results indicate that the distributed load produces relatively uniform stress patterns across the deck, with stress concentrations near supports due to negative bending moments inherent to continuous systems. Maximum vertical displacements were within acceptable limits, demonstrating adequate stiffness provided by the ۳۰-cm thick slab. This study emphasizes the importance of modeling continuity and realistic load distributions in evaluating short-span concrete bridge behavior under distributed service loads.
