چکیده مقاله:

This study presents a numerical investigation of a three-span continuous reinforced concrete bridge with a ۳۰-cm thick deck slab subjected to vertical point loadings. The bridge, featuring three equal spans of ۸ meters each, was modeled using three-dimensional finite element analysis to evaluate its structural response, focusing on stress distribution and vertical displacements. The material behavior was assumed linear elastic, and boundary conditions simulated realistic support constraints including pinned and roller supports at abutments and fixed conditions at intermediate piers. Results reveal critical stress concentrations at points of load application and supports, with maximum von Mises stresses reaching significant levels indicative of bending moment effects. The ۳۰-cm deck thickness was found to effectively balance stiffness and flexibility, controlling deflections within acceptable limits. The study underscores the importance of considering detailed load effects and continuity conditions in assessing bridge performance under service loading scenarios.
