چکیده مقاله:
This study investigates the structural behavior of a two-span continuous concrete bridge subjected exclusively to uniformly distributed vertical loading, with a particular focus on the influence of a ۴۰ cm deck slab on global and local response mechanisms. A detailed finite element model was developed to simulate the load transfer, stress distribution, and deformation patterns across the ۸ m + ۸ m spans. Results indicate that the uniform load generates a smooth and predictable bending profile, with stresses dispersing efficiently through the increased slab thickness. The maximum von Mises stress of approximately Pa and the peak vertical displacement of m remain within acceptable serviceability limits, confirming the enhanced stiffness provided by the ۴۰ cm deck. The findings demonstrate that deck thickening in continuous systems significantly improves load distribution and reduces critical deflections, contributing to improved structural performance under distributed loading conditions.
