چکیده مقاله:

The design of short-span concrete bridges requires careful consideration of the interaction between various loading regimes and structural geometries. This study investigates the mechanical behavior of an ۸ meter single-span concrete bridge featuring a ۵۰ cm thick deck slab, subjected to a combined loading scenario comprising a ۵۰ kN vertical distributed load and a concentrated vertical load at mid-span. Utilizing finite element analysis (FEA), the research evaluates the combined effect of these forces on stress distribution and vertical displacement. The simulation results reveal that the ۵۰ cm deck slab effectively mitigates the localized stress concentrations induced by the concentrated load while maintaining structural stability under the distributed load. The increased thickness provides sufficient stiffness to limit total vertical deflections and ensures a balanced stress response across the entire span. These findings demonstrate the robust performance of the ۵۰ cm deck configuration under complex, combined loading conditions, providing essential insights into the design optimization and serviceability of concrete bridges in demanding traffic environments.
