چکیده مقاله:
This study investigates the structural response of a single-span concrete bridge with an ۸ m span subjected to a vertical distributed load, with particular emphasis on the influence of a ۴۰ cm deck slab thickness. Understanding the behavior of bridge decks under distributed loading is essential for ensuring structural safety and serviceability in short-span bridge systems. In this research, a numerical model was developed using the finite element method to simulate the mechanical behavior of the bridge structure under uniformly distributed loading conditions. The analysis focuses on evaluating the stress distribution and deformation characteristics of the concrete deck, identifying critical regions where structural demand is most significant. The numerical simulation enables a detailed understanding of how distributed loads are transferred through the bridge deck and how deck thickness contributes to the overall stiffness and load-carrying capacity of the structure. The results highlight the role of deck thickness in improving load distribution and structural stability under vertical distributed loading. The findings provide valuable insights for the design and optimization of short-span concrete bridges, emphasizing the importance of geometric parameters in enhancing structural performance and ensuring reliable service behavior.
