چکیده مقاله:

This study presents a numerical investigation into the structural behavior of a single-span concrete bridge subjected to vertical point loadings, with particular emphasis on the influence of a ۴۰-cm deck slab thickness. The research aims to evaluate stress distribution patterns, deformation characteristics, and overall structural performance under localized loading conditions that simulate critical traffic scenarios. A finite element model was developed to accurately represent the geometric configuration, material properties, and boundary conditions of the bridge system. The analysis focuses on identifying critical stress regions and assessing the structural response of the deck under concentrated loading. The results demonstrate that increasing the deck thickness enhances structural stiffness and improves load distribution capacity, contributing to improved performance under vertical point loads. The findings highlight the importance of deck thickness in optimizing bridge design and ensuring structural safety under localized loading effects.
