چکیده مقاله:

The construction industry consistently underperforms in delivering projects on time, within budget, and at acceptable quality standards, partly due to the inadequacy of traditional static project management methodologies in complex and volatile environments. This study presents a systematic literature review examining the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the ten Project Management Knowledge Areas defined in the PMBOK Guide Sixth Edition. Peer-reviewed publications from ۲۰۲۰ to ۲۰۲۵ were retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Findings demonstrate that AI technologies including machine learning, deep neural networks, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and digital twins have delivered measurable improvements across all knowledge areas, from automated scope decomposition and predictive scheduling to dynamic cost modeling, real-time quality monitoring, proactive risk management, and intelligent procurement and stakeholder analysis. The integration of BIM with AI emerges as a foundational cross-cutting enabler. Critically, the reviewed evidence consistently positions AI as a decision-support instrument that augments rather than replaces professional judgment. This study provides a structured mapping of AI capabilities onto the PMBOK framework, offering both a consolidated reference for researchers and a practical guide for construction firms seeking evidence-based AI investment strategies.
