چکیده مقاله:
Nanotechnology, particularly the synthesis of metallic nanoparticles, has played an increasingly significant role in the development of biomedical applications. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have attracted considerable attention due to their high biocompatibility, low toxicity, and unique optical properties. However, conventional chemical synthesis methods are often associated with environmental concerns. This study investigates the green synthesis of gold nanoparticles using blueberry extract as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent. Gold nanoparticles were synthesized through the reaction between blueberry extract and a gold salt precursor under ambient conditions. The formation of nanoparticles was confirmed by UV–Vis spectroscopy, in which the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) peak was observed around ۵۰۰ nm, while the characteristic peak of phenolic compounds in the extract was prominent at ۲۸۰ nm. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images revealed predominantly spherical nanoparticles with an average diameter of approximately ۲۵ nm. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) further demonstrated the presence of clustered aggregates at submicron dimensions. The results indicate that blueberry extract is capable of synthesizing gold nanoparticles with controlled size and morphology through an environmentally friendly approach. This method represents a sustainable and safe alternative for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles with high potential for biomedical applications.
