چکیده مقاله:
This study investigated the effects of Ovaprim (sGnRHa + domperidone) and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) combined with metoclopramide on the reproductive performance of Tinca tinca broodstock under semi-artificial reproduction. A total of ۴۲ broodfish (۲۱ females and ۲۱ males), weighing ۸۰۴.۲ ± ۲۰.۶۲ and ۵۰۳.۵۳ ± ۱۵.۳۱ g, respectively, were selected from the western basin of Anzali Lagoon, transferred to the Shahid Ansari Center, and maintained at ۲۵.۱±۰.۳°C. The experimental groups (n=۱۴ for each treatment, including ۷ males and ۷ females) included: the control group (۰.۹% NaCl solution), the hCG group (a dose of ۴۰۰ IU/kg of fish body weight), and the Ovaprim group (a dose of ۰.۵ mL/kg of fish body weight). Metoclopramide was injected as an antidopamine agent in combination with hCG (۱۰ mg metoclopramide + ۵۰۰۰ IU hCG). Females received two injections (۲۰% initial + ۸۰% after ۱۰ h), while males received one injection. The results indicated that the highest response to the hormone for spawning maturation (۱۰۰%) and the highest egg fertilization rate (۸۵.۷%) were observed in the Ovaprim group compared to the hCG group (۴۵.۳%) (p<۰.۰۵). Moreover, the latency time in the Ovaprim group (۱۲ hours) was significantly shorter than in the hCG group (۲۰ hours) (p<۰.۰۵). Furthermore, no ovulation was observed in the control group (p>۰.۰۵). In conclusion, administration of Ovaprim at a dosage of ۰.۵ mL/kg body weight under controlled conditions significantly enhanced the reproductive performance of tench, indicating its potential as an effective hormonal agent for semi-artificial reproduction in aquaculture practices.
