چکیده مقاله:
This investigation examines the chemical mechanisms governing acoustic energy dissipation in composite materials for modern music studio wall systems. Four material classes are examined: Mass-Loaded Vinyl (MLV) systems, melamine-formaldehyde foams, geopolymer composites, and bio-based PLA/chitosan/SiO₂ aerogels. Acoustic energy converts to heat via three primary molecular-scale pathways: (۱) interfacial friction at filler-matrix boundaries in MLV, (۲) viscous and thermal relaxation in bimodal pore architectures (melamine foam), and (۳) segmental chain motion at the glass transition temperature (Tg = ۱۸-۲۵°C for optimized polymers). An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) trained on MLV compositions (preliminary, n=۳, requiring validation with expanded dataset) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of lattice structures (static approximation, dynamic analysis needed) demonstrate proof-of-concept modeling approaches. Maximum measured performance includes STL of ۳۲ dB at ۱۰۰۰ Hz (MLV) and absorption coefficient α = ۰.۸۷ (bio-aerogel). Preliminary biodegradation observations suggest partial mass loss (۴۰-۵۰% at ۹۰ days) for bio-based materials, though complete degradation requires systematic testing per ISO ۱۴۸۵۵. This chemistry-centered framework provides hypotheses for rational design where acoustic neutrality emerges from engineered molecular interfaces and viscoelastic relaxation spectra.
