چکیده مقاله:

The article presents the results of experimental studies of a laboratory pilot ozone water purification plant developed as part of Project AR۲۶۱۹۹۴۴۵ “Development of an intelligent ozone water treatment system” and intended for use in water treatment systems. The unit is based on a corona-discharge ozone generator integrated with an automated control system using a programmable logic controller, which ensures the stability of the ozonation mode and the control of technological parameters. Experimental studies of water purification were carried out at ozone doses of ۱.۰, ۲.۰, ۳.۰, and ۵.۰ mg/L and a contact time of ۳-۵ min. During the tests, changes in the main physicochemical parameters of water before and after treatment were analyzed: hydrogen index, redox potential, dissolved oxygen, biochemical and chemical oxygen demand, as well as concentrations of ammonium nitrogen, iron compounds, phenols, and petroleum products. The results showed a nonlinear dependence of ozonation efficiency on the ozone dose, reaching a plateau at values above ۳.۰ mg/L. It was established that a dose of ۱.۰ mg/L is optimal in terms of the “effect-energy consumption” ratio, while ۳.۰ mg/L represents the upper limit of a reasonable increase in dosage. An increased value of ۵.۰ mg/L is justified mainly for disinfection and removal of persistent micropollutants. Thus, the studies conducted confirm the technological and technical-economic efficiency of using intelligent ozone generators in modern water treatment systems.
