چکیده مقاله:
This review investigates the production, properties, and application of zeolite. Zeolite is a compound containing aluminum and silicon in a tetrahedral structural framework, which is hydrated. Different techniques, such as hydrothermal and environmentally friendly methods, were employed for the zeolite synthesis. Additionally, the evaluation has focused on analyzing the composition of zeolite, including its shape, chemical groups, and particle size, utilizing various techniques referenced from various sources. The characterization results demonstrate that zeolite possesses several distinct characteristics, including its affinity for water, aversion to water, ability to withstand high temperatures, consistent pore size, and acidic nature. Processed zeolites can effectively remove dyes and heavy metal ions through techniques such as adsorption, ion exchange, and surface precipitation. The efficiency of these processes is determined by various factors, including the type of pollutant, the properties of the zeolite, and environmental conditions such as pH, temperature, and concentration.
