چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays, with the increasing population, providing healthy food has become a serious challenge. In the food production cycle, improper use of production resources, unregulated application of agricultural pesticides, and industrial wastewater have created serious risks for living organisms, especially humans. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the standard level for trivalent arsenic ion is ۱۰ ppb. Today, millions of people are exposed to arsenic contamination through the consumption of drinking water. Although arsenic exists in various chemical forms in nature, it is mainly found in water as trivalent arsenite (As(III)) and pentavalent arsenate (As(V)). The trivalent form of arsenic is the most toxic to health and is about ۶۰ times more toxic than its pentavalent form. Due to the problems and threats it poses to health, research into prevention methods and the design of simple, low-cost methods for its detection has attracted the interest of scientists and researchers. Therefore, given the widespread contamination by arsenic and the resulting issues, diagnostic methods have also been expanding, and researchers have initiated numerous activities to address this contamination problem. One area of activity is the use of aptasensors for arsenic detection. In this review, aptasensors selective for arsenic ions were collected from various databases and studied. The results indicate that these methods, with high selectivity and sensitivity, can detect arsenic ions and serve as a good alternative to conventional laboratory methods.
