چکیده مقاله:

Medications have different rules and handling methods depending on their type. In hospital pharmacies, many medications are still not managed using an efficient operational storage system. Inefficient storage systems lead to medication accumulation in the picking area before being distributed to the shipping area. Storage capacity must align with local and international regulations to ensure safety and quality standards. This issue disrupts the operational processes of medication placement and delivery to the shipping area and treatment rooms. This study developed a mathematical model to allocate medication placement across three flows using linear programming. The model was designed to minimize operational allocation costs and determine the appropriate medication placement flow. This study divided the medication storage allocation flows into three as follows: Flow ۱ consists of receiving, reserve, shipping; Flow ۲ consists of receiving, reserve, picking, and shipping; Flow ۳ consists of receiving, picking, shipping. The results recommended that ۳۱ types of medications are allocated through flow ۱, while ۱۰۸ types are allocated through flow ۳. A total of ۱۶۸,۷۷۶ medication units are allocated through flow ۱, and ۴۷۹,۰۱۸ units are allocated through flow ۳. Based on optimization, the minimum cost for the entire operational storage allocation process is IDR ۱۷,۰۴۴,۹۷۸.۸۶ per month.
