A Review of Harnessing ChatGPT in English Language Education: Benefits, Challenges, and Solutions

The emergence of ChatGPT, an advanced AI-powered language model, has generated considerable interest in the field of language education. Its potential to transform teaching, learning, and assessment practices has led to an increasing amount of research exploring its applications and effects. This narrative review aims to synthesize current findings on the impact of ChatGPT in English language education, focusing on its benefits, challenges, and practical implications.
