چکیده مقاله:

Emotional neglect is a kind of childhood maltreatment that occurs when a child’s emotional needs are not met by their parents or caregivers. Emotional neglect is distinct significantly from emotional abuse. In our study, we want to prove that emotional neglect can be related to offenses. Emotional neglect was associated with borderline personality disorder (BPD), psychopathy, dissociative identity disorder (DID), depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Complex posttraumatic stress disorder(CPTSD) and alexithymia that can also lead people to various types of criminal or violent behaviour that we pointed out in our study. The aim of this review article was to don’t take lightly emotional neglect and its outcomes, because some individuals think that emotional neglect compared to emotional abuse doesn’t have such outcomes. While emotional neglect is associated with different kinds of disorders, this association may make people who experienced this child maltreatment conduct crimes that we pointed out in our study. This review study helps you to develop your knowledge about emotional neglect (EN), and we explain in step one how emotional neglect can lead people to some kind of disorder named BPD, psychosis, DID, depression, ADHD, CPTSD and alexithymia and in step two how the pointed relation can make people commit criminal behaviours by studying many articles.
