Allergic asthma is a chronic inflammatory airway disease marked by immune-cell infiltration, mucus overproduction, tissue remodeling, and impaired lung function. Because experimental studies differ in treatment timing, dosage, and induction protocols, direct comparison of therapies is difficult. In this study, an experimentally informed MATLAB-based computational model was developed to compare five agents: aucubin, riclinoctaose, metformin, a novel phenolic acid, and nobiletin. After removing mesenchymal stem cell effects from the original framework, treatment-specific pathways were calibrated to experimental data. The model showed that metformin and riclinoctaose were most effective in preserving lung tissue and reducing inflammation.
