چکیده مقاله:
This meta-analysis investigates the effectiveness of Choice Theory training on reducing work-family conflict (WFC) among working parents. Work-family conflict is a pervasive issue impacting the well-being and productivity of employed individuals, particularly parents balancing professional and familial responsibilities. Choice Theory, developed by William Glasser, posits that individuals are driven by five basic needs (survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun) and that psychological distress arises from an inability to satisfy these needs effectively. This study systematically reviews and synthesizes empirical evidence from studies published between ۲۰۲۰ and ۲۰۲۵, examining the impact of Choice Theory interventions on WFC. A comprehensive search of academic databases, including Google Scholar, was conducted to identify relevant studies. The findings indicate a significant positive effect of Choice Theory training in mitigating work-family conflict. Subgroup analyses and moderator effects, such as geographical location and specific parent populations, are also explored. The results provide valuable insights for practitioners and policymakers in developing interventions to support working parents.
