Emotion Recognation Using Deep Learning Techniques on Facial Expression Data

Emotion recognition plays a crucial role in human computer interaction, affective computing, and intelligent system. With the rapid development of deep learning, automatic emotion detection from facial expressions has achieved significant improvements in accuracy and robustness. This paper proposes a convolutional neural network (CNN) based approach for recognizing human emotions from facial images. The proposed model is evaluated on a publicly available facial expression dataset and demonstrates competitive performance compared to traditional machine learning methods. Experimental results show that deep learning models can effectively capture discriminative emotional features and improve classification accuracy. The findings of this study highlight the potential of deep learning based emotion recognition systems in real world applications.
