چکیده مقاله:

Summary of Iran’s Role in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) As a member of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Iran actively participates in the decision-making forums of this institution. Currently, Hossein Mirshojaeian serves as Iran’s representative on the IMF’s Executive Board. This repreSsentative seat allows Iran to engage in international economic decision-making on behalf of a constituency comprising eight countries: Algeria, Pakistan, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Afghanistan, Ghana, and Iran. The significance of Iran’s membership on this Executive Board lies in its influence on global financial and economic policies, as well as the opportunity to pursue national interests internationally. Iran’s voting rights and weight on the Board are directly linked to its quota and contribution to the IMF’s capital. The Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran acts as the primary liaison, responsible for communication and coordination with the IMF. This collaboration includes receiving reports, consultations, and addressing international financial and economic issues pertinent to Iran
