The Impact of Capital Structure on Financial Performance in Private Banks

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of capital structure on financial performance in private banks. The findings indicate a positive and significant effect of capital structure on the financial performance of private banks. Furthermore, the hypothesis regarding the effect of the capital adequacy ratio on financial performance is supported. However, the two hypotheses concerning the impact of the equity ratio and the interest coverage ratio on financial performance in private banks are rejected; therefore, they do not have a significant effect on financial performance.
