چکیده مقاله:

This study aims to analyze and compare risk management strategies in banks and examine their impact on financial stability and organizational performance. In this research, various types of banking risks, including credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, and operational risk, are first identified. Subsequently, the effectiveness of common risk management strategies in confronting these risks is examined. The research method is descriptive-analytical, and data have been collected through a systematic literature review, international standards and empirical analysis of a sample of domestic, (particularly the Basel principles) and foreign banks. The results indicate that banks utilizing comprehensive risk management frameworks, encompassing transparent policy-making, robust control systems, and a culture of responsible risk-taking, demonstrate more stable performance and greater capacity in managing financial crises. The findings also emphasize the necessity of aligning domestic banks with international standards and strengthening risk governance structures. These results can serve as an effective guide for decision-makers in improving risk management strategies within the banking system.
