چکیده مقاله:

In today’s highly competitive and globalized business environment, supply chain management (SCM) has become a critical strategic function for organizational success. Simultaneously, rapid advancements in information technology (IT) have fundamentally transformed the way supply chains are designed, managed, and optimized. This paper presents a comprehensive review and analytical examination of the role of information technology management in enhancing supply chain management performance. Drawing exclusively on international and peer-reviewed sources, this study synthesizes existing theoretical frameworks and empirical findings related to IT-enabled supply chains. The review focuses on key IT dimensions such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), big data analytics, cloud computing, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), and analyzes their impact on supply chain integration, visibility, agility, and resilience. Furthermore, this paper identifies major research trends, theoretical gaps, and methodological limitations in the existing literature. By critically analyzing prior studies, the paper highlights how effective IT management acts as a strategic enabler for achieving competitive advantage through supply chain excellence. The findings contribute to both academic research and managerial practice by providing a structured understanding of IT’s strategic role in SCM and proposing directions for future research in this evolving field.
