چکیده مقاله:
Families nurture their children in a safe, peaceful, and loving environment and entrust them to the education system in a place called "school" to be raised in a larger family, namely "society." Therefore, schools must provide the best possible conditions in accordance with school regulations and a culture conducive to creativity and social progress. Schools are the second home for children, and they are expected to play a primary role in the physical and intellectual development of students. This research aims to determine the management of safety and environmental health in primary schools. This research is a review study conducted to determine the management of safety and environmental health in primary schools. It includes English and Persian articles published between ۲۰۰۳ and ۲۰۲۴. The exclusion criteria for related articles were incomplete or irrelevant data, review studies, articles with unspecified sample sizes, articles with unclear implementation methods, and articles covering all educational levels of schools. A total of ۹۸ articles were collected from databases, and after the final inclusion and exclusion process, ۱۳ articles were selected, including ۱۲ Persian articles and ۱ English article. As the area of schools decreases, contagious diseases among students increase due to closer contact. The presence of green spaces in school environments not only moderates the environment and reduces air pollution but also has a significant impact on mental health and stress reduction. Additionally, the presence of a health instructor in schools and continuous education on health and safety culture greatly contributes to the health of students and society. The Ministry of Education should develop long-term, continuous, and coordinated programs with school administrators to improve safety and health culture. This is because the expectations of families are closely tied to the perspective of the Ministry of Education and the hope they place in their ۷-year-old children, who are the future of society.
