Design of a Miniaturized Multilayer Directional Coupler

In this paper, using a multi-layer directional coupler and a new geometric structure, we have reduced the isolation and return loss below -۲۸dB. The recommended coupler size is ۱۵ x ۲۵ mm² also, the substrate material is Rogers Ro۴۰۰۳. Simulations were performed in CST, the desired coupler was fabricated, and the measurement results were compared with the simulation results.
