There are many different climates in Iran, so the variety of medicinal herbs is high. Expanding the cultivation of medicinal plants in urban green space is important. Considering that in order to meet the international standards of green space in Iran, ۱۰۰ hectares of medicinal plants should be cultivated annually in the country. There is a growing green space with several levels of the available surface, by importing medicinal plants on the list of plants suitable for the green space of the medicinal plants of medicinal plants. The cultivation of medicinal plants in the green space is a part of recoverable costs, as well as the proximity of these places to industrial and commercial centers for transport costs. Some medicinal plants have some fairly good tolerance for salinity, drought, soil alkaline, harsh sun radiation, harsh conditions, high pruning, and etc. The most important effects of green space in cities: environmental functions, spiritual functions, economic function, coping with the effects of industrial expansion and misuse of technology as well as enhancing the biological quality of cities.
