The framework of decision support system with implemented the MCDM method

During business operations, businessmen are forced to solve many problems that have a significant impact on improving business processes. A significant group of emerging issues, concerns a Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). Although many publications in this field are available, only a few are related to supporting decision makers in the field of multi-criteria decision making in businesses. The main motivation for conducting research is the lack of satisfactory studies that apply to the use of such muliciteria methods as an AHP Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) etc. in Decision Support Systems (DSS). Fuzzy MCDM methods also play a significant role in the research. Properly programmed MCDM methods can contribute to the development of the DSS system supporting multi-criteria decisions. The main purpose of the article is to present the DSS system model using multicriteria methods. The model takes into account the possibility of using work in the Internet and group decision making by Group Decision Support System (GDSS).
