The interval type-۲ fuzzy ۲-median location problem on tree networks

In this paper, the ۲-median location problem on tree networks is considered in which the vertex weights are interval type-۲ fuzzy numbers. First, we propose a new ranking method for ranking interval type-۲ fuzzy numbers and then some related properties and theorems are proved. Finally, an optimal algorithm is presented to solve the problem using the new ranking method.
