A New Survey for WiMAX Multi-hop network for different Coverage Areas

Wireless Broadband is base on cell technology designed to make high-speed wireless data network access. Broadband wireless networks such as WorldwideInteroperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) can be categorized into a single-hop or a multi-hop network. Wireless multi-hop relay systems are the newest amendment to WiMAX. Relay systems come based on their capabilities and have the potential to offer many advantages over the singlehop technology. There are two main types of multi-hop relay stations: transparent, which are not able to transmit control information and non-transparent, which have the capability to transmit such information. This paper focuses mainly on different with transparent and non-transparent relay stations. IEEE٨٠٢.١٦j provides two different frame structures − single and multi-frame − for utilization in multi-hop relay networks, to allocate bandwidth. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the two proposed frame structures, in various network scenarios in terms of delay, throughput, rate, and user capacity with network simulator version two.
