چکیده مقاله:

Fused Deposition Modeling is a widely used additive manufacturing technique for producing polymer components with high design flexibility and low fabrication cost. Among FDM thermoplastics, Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate and its fiber-reinforced composites have attracted growing interest for engineering applications requiring improved mechanical performance. However, the tensile behavior of ASA-based layered structures fabricated by FDM has not been fully clarified. In this study, the tensile properties of FDM-printed neat ASA, carbon fiber–reinforced ASA, and a layered ASA/ASA-CF composite were experimentally investigated. Specimens were fabricated using a Bambu Lab FDM ۳D printer and tested under uniaxial tension according to ASTM D۶۳۸ at crosshead speeds of ۱ mm/min and ۱۰ mm/min. The tensile performance of ASA-based materials was also compared with ABS as a reference polymer. The results indicate that carbon fiber reinforcement significantly enhances stiffness and tensile strength, while reducing ductility. The layered composite exhibits intermediate mechanical behavior, and all ASA-based materials outperform ABS in tensile performance, demonstrating their potential for advanced FDM applications.
