چکیده مقاله:
Cancer, as one of the major health challenges of the present century, continues to require the development of effective, targeted, and minimally invasive treatment methods. Despite significant advances in surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, these methods are often associated with limitations such as damage to healthy tissue, severe side effects, and reduced quality of life for patients. Therefore, the development of novel approaches that can provide selective destruction of tumor tissue with minimal side effects has become an engineering and medical necessity. In the meantime, magnetic nanoparticle-based hyperthermia has attracted increasing attention as an advanced and targeted treatment method. In this method, magnetic nanoparticles, after accumulating in the tumor area, are exposed to an alternating magnetic field and generate local heat through magnetic energy dissipation mechanisms. Controlled temperature increases within the therapeutic range can lead to damage to cell membranes, induction of apoptosis or necrosis of cancer cells, and ultimately inhibition of tumor growth, while sparing the surrounding healthy tissue to a large extent. The aim of this article is to review the parameters affecting hyperthermia using magnetic nanoparticles in cancer treatment in modeling and simulation. At the beginning of this article, after introducing the basics of hyperthermia method, the main parameters affecting the hyperthermia process of magnetic nanoparticles will be discussed. Parameters such as magnetic nanoparticles properties, alternating magnetic field settings, injection strategies, method of injection of nanoparticles into the tumor and tumor characteristics will be analyzed.
