چکیده مقاله:

Dust accumulation is a critical factor affecting the performance and economic viability of photovoltaic (PV) systems, particularly in urban environments. This study investigates the impact of soiling on a grid-connected PV system in central Tehran using PVsyst simulations. Four soiling scenarios (۲%, ۷%, ۱۲%, and ۱۷%) were analyzed to evaluate changes in annual energy production, performance ratio (PR), normalized energy yield, and revenue. Results indicate a clear linear decline in system performance with increasing dust levels: annual energy output decreases up to ۱۴.۴%, and PR drops from ۸۰.۱۵% under clean conditions to ۶۸.۵۹% at ۱۷% soiling. Seasonal variations show peak production during summer months and lowest output in winter, while economic analysis reveals significant revenue losses, reaching ۱۷.۷ million IRR annually at ۱۷% dust coverage. The findings highlight the critical influence of dust accumulation on both technical and economic aspects of PV systems in polluted urban climates, emphasizing the need to account for soiling effects in design and operation to ensure optimal energy yield and financial returns.
