چکیده مقاله:

Suction line heat exchangers (SLHX) play an important role in improving the efficiency of domestic refrigeration systems, especially when the copper capillary tube is in contact with the aluminum suction tube. This contact can lead to galvanic corrosion of aluminum, which reduces the life and safety of the system. In this paper, an innovative method is presented to reduce corrosion and improve heat transfer: the use of thermally non-conductive adhesives combined with external surface insulation. This design allows for effective heat transfer between the tubes and interrupts the electrical path between copper and aluminum. To investigate the thermal performance and corrosion resistance, a thermal simulation analysis was performed and the effect of adhesive thickness, contact length, and thermal conductivity of the insulation material on the COP of the system was investigated. The results show that the use of non-conductive epoxy, silicone, or polyurethane adhesives, in addition to reducing the risk of corrosion, increases the thermal efficiency of the system and long-term stability. This method provides the feasibility of implementation in industrial production lines. The findings can be used as a practical and scientific solution to improve heat exchangers in household refrigerators and small refrigeration systems.
