چکیده مقاله:
This study aims to integrate strategies for enhancing interphase interactions in epoxy resin-based composites and simultaneously evaluate their impact on improving mechanical properties and adhesion. The primary focus is on developing a combined approach to optimize the overall performance of these composite systems. To achieve this, chemical modification of the resin structure was carried out using modifiers such as nanoparticles such as SiO۲. The fabricated samples, containing various filler contents, were subjected to standard experimental tests including tensile (to assess ultimate tensile strength, elongation at break and elastic modulus) and contact angle measurement via sessile drop method (to evaluate surface energy and wettability across different surfaces). The results revealed a significant and direct correlation between improved interfacial interactions and enhanced final properties. Tensile tests showed an increase in tensile strength and a rise in elasticity for modified net resin and composites compared to the unmodified baseline. Concurrently, contact angle measurements indicated a substantial reduction (up to ۳۰%) in samples containing surfactants, suggesting improved wettability and adhesion potential. These improvements were attributed to strong interfacial bonding and uniform filler dispersion within the polymer matrix. The findings demonstrate that the intelligent combination of resin chemical modification and filler surface treatment is an effective strategy for simultaneously achieving epoxy composites with superior mechanical strength and desirable adhesion. This approach provides a scientific foundation for the development of advanced composite materials in engineering applications such as aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries.
