Ru-doped NH₂-MIL-۱۲۵(Ti) was synthesized via an in-situ method and characterized by FT-IR, XRD, FE-SEM and BET. The catalyst exhibited superior visible-light activity compared to pristine NH₂-MIL-۱۲۵(Ti), achieving complete mineralization of Congo Red (CR) within ۳۰ min. This enhancement is attributed to improved light absorption and charge separation. Quenching experiments identified h + and O۲ −as the primary active species. Furthermore, the catalyst remained stable and reusable over four cycles, maintaining high performance for CR photodegradation.
