چکیده مقاله:

In this research, through using the Green`s function method in the tight-binding model and on a band structure, we investigate the thermal conductivity of armchair carbon nanoribbons, in linear response theory, using kubo’s formula. and then compare the results with the thermal conductivity of graphene sheet and boron-nitride nanoribbons. Investigations of thermal conductivity diagrams show that the armhair carbon nanoribbons are divided into three categories ,the first and second categories are semi-conductive and the third category is conductive, we have selected three different widths of nanoribbons for analysis in each category.In the case that instead of carbon atoms, boron-nitrogen atoms are replaced, all three armchair boron-nitride nanoribbons are semi-conductive. also, the examination of the thermal conductivity diagrams shows that their thermal conductivity decreases with the increase in the width of the nanoribbons.
