This study presents the complex challenge of controlling perishable multi-item inventory under limited resources, which affect resource losses, costumer goodwill, profitability and sustainability. In genuine cases, the decision makers face difficulties to obtain the optimal results under uncertainty. Modeling using interval valued neutrosophic set helps to overcome all issues related to uncertainty in perishable items inventory. We develop a constrained multi-item inventory model for perishable goods within an interval-valued neutrosophic environment. Various components such as inventory costs, demand, deterioration, preservation, fully backlogged shortages, and imperfect items with two-level price discounts are included in this study.The main target is to maximize the net profit of the retailer, evaluating the order amount, maximum inventory level and to quantify the model’s inherent uncertainty. For the transcendental functions in the model, Taylor series approximation is used. Uncertainty is managed using interval-valued optimization and neutrosophic fuzzy optimization, with the nearest interval approximation method handling single-valued neutrosophic parameters with deneutrosophication for constraints. A new approach is proposed by constructing an interval-valued multi-objective optimization problem (IVMOOP) using the quotient rule on interval-valued neutrosophic parameters of a fractional non-linear model. We establish the theoretical optimality conditions, demonstrating both concavity of the objective function and the uniqueness of the solution via Hessian matrix. This method is hybridized with neutrosophic fuzzy optimization to estimate the acceptance, indeterminacy, and falsity levels. To showcase the practicability and robustness of developed model a numerical example and sensitivity analysis are provided to demonstrate the usefulness and accuracy.
