First record of crabs Ilyoplex sp. (Brachyura: Dotillidae) in the muddy tidal waters of Khor Al-Zubair

The first recorded sighting of the crab belonging to the Infraorder: Brachyura, family: Dotillidae, Genus: Ilyoplex, in the muddy tidal waters of Khor Al Zubair. While the species Ilyoplex stevensi has been recorded in our waters, the identified species is entirely different from the one mentioned above, and this sighting is in the same area. This record is a continuation of a series of new identifications in our territorial and local waters.
