Regional planning responsive to sudden events using live analysis of social network data

This study proposes a responsive regional planning framework that utilizes real-time social media data to manage sudden events effectively. By integrating live data streams from multiple social media platforms with regional planning models, the framework provides timely, data-driven insights for decision-makers. The methodology includes data collection, preprocessing, sentiment and trend analysis, and scenario-based simulations to evaluate potential impacts on urban and regional systems. The results demonstrate that incorporating real-time social media analytics enhances situational awareness, improves resource allocation, and supports more effective emergency response strategies.
