The place of sustainable architectural models in Iranian vernacular architecture

Sustainable architecture is a design method that emphasizes reducing the consumption of non-renewable resources and optimizing the consumption of renewable resources. This type of architecture reduces the damage caused by building design to energy resources and the environment, so a building that is built with a sustainable design will have the least incompatibility with the environment. Unlike common construction patterns, sustainable architecture is based on the principles of ecological design and in harmony with nature. This clearly demonstrates the necessity of creating and developing the category of sustainability in architecture.
