Sustainability Enhancement Factors in Project-Oriented ‎Organizations of the Building Industry Based on PSM۳ Assessment ‎Model

Maintaining sustainability in project-oriented organizations within the ‎building industry is crucial. This research aims to extend the lifespan and ‎improve the management quality of building projects in Iran. It evaluates ‎organizations from a sustainability perspective using the PSM۳ assessment ‎model. The study modifies, prioritizes,and localizes the PSM۳ ‎foundational criteria based on Iran's conditions, incorporating expert ‎opinions and reviewing the existing model. The criteria were examined for ‎compliance with Iran's conditions, adding new criteria to the customizable ‎model as necessary. ‎The original PSM۳ model included four categories with ۱۰۱ evaluation ‎criteria. The necessity of new criteria for Iran was assessed through a ‎process that removed non-essential criteria. After adding and removing ‎criteria, all were prioritized and weighted according to the importance of ‎sustainability dimensions specific to Iran's building requirements. The ‎tailored model for Iran includes ۱۳۷ criteria: ۱۰۱ from the original model ‎and ۳۶ new criteria suitable for the building industry.‎
