چکیده مقاله:

Adipogenesis, the process by which pre-adipocytes differentiate into mature adipocytes, plays a critical role in maintaining metabolic balance and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of adipogenesis is linked to various metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and lipodystrophy. Recent advancements in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine have focused on leveraging natural polymers to regulate and enhance adipogenesis, owing to their biocompatibility, biodegradability, and ability to mimic the natural extracellular matrix (ECM) closely. This literature review explores the diverse applications of natural polymers, such as collagen, alginate, chitosan, hyaluronic acid, and fibrin, in the regulation of adipogenesis. These materials not only support cell adhesion and proliferation but also offer unique bioactive cues that can promote or inhibit adipocyte differentiation. Recent studies have investigated the role of natural polymer-based scaffolds in creating three-dimensional (۳D) microenvironments that replicate the complex architecture of adipose tissue, providing optimal conditions for adipocyte maturation. Additionally, the functionalization of natural polymers with growth factors, cytokines, and nanoparticles has been shown to enhance adipogenic differentiation and facilitate tissue-specific regeneration. The review further discusses the influence of scaffold design, mechanical properties, and degradation rates on the efficiency of adipogenesis and highlights current challenges, including the need for better control over the spatial and temporal aspects of adipocyte differentiation. Finally, the potential of these materials in therapeutic applications, such as regenerative medicine for adipose tissue loss or obesity treatments, is discussed.
