چکیده مقاله:

The synthesis of pyrrolonaphthyridine using arylidenemalononitrile, malononitrile, aniline, acetylenic esters, and alkyl bromides is described in depth in this publication. SiO۲/Fe۳O۴@MWCNTs, a reusable catalyst, is used in this solvent-free, ambient temperature synthesis, which yields encouraging results. Crucially, an aqueous extract from Petasits hybridus leaves was used to achieve the extraordinary efficiency of the manufactured nanocatalyst. This extract was subjected to a number of tests to assess the catalyst's reusability. The presence of the NH group in the produced pyrrolonaphthyridine is connected to its antioxidant properties. This property is investigated using two methodologies: the Ferric ions (Fe۳+) reducing potential (FRAP) experiment and diphenyl-picrylhydrazine (DPPH) radical scavenging. Additionally, a disk diffusion experiment was used to assess the antibacterial qualities of the synthesized pyrrolonaphthyridine against two strains of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, demonstrating the compound's effectiveness in preventing bacterial growth. Numerous advantages come with the synthetic approach for pyrrolonaphthyridine derivatives, including shorter reaction durations, higher product yields, and an easier method of extracting the catalyst from the end products.
