چکیده مقاله:

The role of teacher ethics in education has gained increasing attention, yet its specific impact on foreign language learning at the primary level remains underexplored. This paper argues that teacher ethics—defined as fairness, care, integrity, and professional accountability—significantly affects young learners’ English language acquisition. Drawing on second language acquisition theories (Krashen’s Affective Filter Hypothesis) and educational psychology, the paper demonstrates how ethical teacher behavior lowers anxiety, enhances motivation, and creates a supportive classroom environment. Unethical practices, such as inconsistent discipline, lack of respect, or emotional neglect, are shown to raise the affective filter and impede language learning. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for teacher training and professional development, emphasizing that ethics should be integrated into language pedagogy for primary education.
