چکیده مقاله:
Background and Aim: Planning for the implementation of an action over time is influenced by several factors. Considering the cognitive components in designing and executing a plan can contribute to its success. Methods: Factors affecting the implementation of a long-term practice were studied in scientific articles and resources (a systematic review of ۷۳ articles and scientific references). Among these factors, the effects of neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, catecholamine, etc.) associated with reward for motivation to the continuation of activities, identification of factors influencing ego depletion, psychological motivational factors, objective targeting, surveillance and other cognitive functions were studied and based on these cognitive factors a model for successful planning was presented. Results: The present study, by studying the factors affecting successful planning, introduced these components and presented a cognitive model for formulating and executing planning. Conclusion: Several cognitive factors are involved in the proper execution of a planning. Putting these components together has led to the development of a model based on cognitive components. After planning with rational principles in its implementation, it is important to consider the neurotransmitters involved in the rewards for motivation as well as identifying the ego-depletion factors to build perseverance and resilience. Monitoring the implementation process and actions taken as well as removing the weaknesses and strengthening the required abilities can cause continuation in the path of implementation. Improving some of the cognitive functions required for planning success is considered as an ancillary factor if needed. Cognitive components are one of the most important components for designing and implementing a successful planning. The present model is based on these components and is recommended for those interested
