Background and Aim: Occupational burnout and stress are factors affecting one's job performance. These factors can impair the functioning of the brain by affecting the cognitive functions of the brain such as attention or other psychological aspects. Although there are organizational solutions to improve these factors, most organizations either disregard or do not prioritize them. But personalized solutions can be a tool for busy people to overcome the negative effects of these factors, such as mindfulness. Methods: There were ۶۸ subjects from three non-executive departments of Oil Organization - ۳۴ male and ۳۴ female- with an average age of ۳۷ and average work experience of ۱۴ years. The cognitive-behavioral test output of only the ۵۵ subjects, who remained with the study attending the whole pre-intervention, post-intervention, and follow up tests, was the main source of the analysis. The research is practical, experimental, and of longitudinal correlation type. Easy, accessible sampling was made in three non-executive departments of Oil Industry: The Institute of International Energy Studies, Research and Technology Management, and Iran Fuel Consumption Optimization. The participants in the research orientation session were randomly labeled as mindfulness and body-relaxation groups, undergoing the online behavioral tests of stress, depression, burnout, anxiety, and social well-being besides the ANT test, which was designed in Python Language in Open-Sesame Software. The participants were provided with the preliminary instructions in the orientation session, and the rest of the practices were presented to them through their membership in the research website portal. The mindfulness practices were adapted from the MBSR ۸-week protocol and were presented online during ۸ consecutive weeks to the participants as audio-visual files and body-relaxation practices including quiet music files. The participant underwent cognitive-behavioral tests at two points: once, at the end of the eighth week and once, a month afterwards. Results The present research was conducted with the purpose of studying the effect of mindfulness in the absence of the factor of release on the personnel suffering job burnout. Conclusion: The test output was assessed with SPSS۲۵, showing that despite the improvement in behavior, there was no meaningful difference in the effectiveness of the ۸-week-long practices of MBSR on attention network of the mindfulness group and that of the body-relaxation group.
