چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim: Air transportation is a complex system. Its main components (aircraft, airports, air traffic control systems, and humans) interact in and across different hierarchical levels. This constitutes a very complicated, highly distributed network of human operators, procedures and technical systems that in spite of great technological progress it has still required air traffic controllers to command airplanes and directing traffic by radiotelephony communication system so that it has not changed fundamentally from ۷۰ years ago. This year is centennial of establishment of first flight control tower in Croydon, London and human agency has almost always been the axial, pivotal meta-center in the totality of this elaborate process. One of the challenges faced by Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPS) and Airlines is: how to increase airspace capacity (to accommodate growth) without affecting system-level safety in the absence of air traffic controllers? This part of technology is an obvious example for presenting human cognitive abilities power that still could not be replaced with intelligent machines. Successful achievement is challenging for both human reasoning modeling and human understanding language modeling that are two fundamental issues for designing an automated system which is able to govern human obligations. Our previous research work with the aim of automating air traffic control process proposed a modelling based on meta-reasoning and communication language via Prolog programming and in the current research work first we discuss cognitive process modeling of controllers to understand how they manage all these complex tasks and then we try to realize all adaptation parts of controller cognitive process which have the potential to operate and function in modelling of an intelligent air traffic system. Methods: Cognitive Processes Assessment Results: how to increase airspace capacity (to accommodate growth) without affecting system-level safety in the absence of air traffic controllers? Conclusion: Realize all adaptation parts of controller cognitive process which have the potential to operate and function in modelling of an intelligent air traffic system.
