چکیده مقاله:
The rapid expansion of industrialization and the continuous increase in global population have intensified issues such as energy shortages and environmental contamination. Among various pollutants, organic contaminants pose a serious risk to human health. As a result, the pursuit of sustainable technologies, particularly photocatalysis, which harnesses renewable and clean energy, has gained significant attention for its potential in effectively removing organic pollutants. Strategies such as heterojunction nanostructure design and morphological engineering are widely recognized for enhancing photocatalytic efficiency. Covalent organic frameworks (COFs), crystalline porous polymers composed of covalently linked organic monomers, have emerged as promising materials in this domain. Recent findings highlight titanium dioxide (TiO۲) as a strong candidate for integration with COFs to improve their photocatalytic performance. In this work, we report the synthesis of binary hollow composites consisting of TiO۲ nanoparticles deposited on hollow COFs (TiO۲@HCOF), prepared through a templating approach followed by a solvothermal process. The resulting materials exhibit superior photocatalytic degradation efficiency for tetracycline (TC) under visible light compared with pure HCOF and TiO۲.
