چکیده مقاله:

The present study aims to identify and categorize the impacts of artificial intelligence on the production and supply of industrial equipment and to provide practical insights for Iranian industries. The research methodology is based on a systematic literature review and content analysis of ۲۸ reputable domestic and international articles published between ۲۰۱۸ and ۲۰۲۵. The findings indicate that AI affects smart production through four primary pathways: (۱) planning and scheduling (with effects such as reduced machine setup time and improved on-time delivery), (۲) quality control (with enhanced defect detection accuracy and reduced waste), (۳) predictive maintenance (with reduced production downtime and increased failure prediction accuracy), and (۴) operational efficiency (with reduced energy consumption and operational costs). The results confirm that localization of these technologies in Iran is feasible and beneficial. The study concludes that AI is no longer a luxury technology but a practical tool for enhancing competitiveness, reducing dependence on foreign suppliers, and improving the sustainability of production lines under Iran’s challenging economic conditions. Practical recommendations include implementing demand forecasting systems and intelligent supplier selection, while research recommendations involve designing an integrated failure prediction model and a maturity assessment framework for small and medium-sized enterprises in Iran.
